H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Tiger’s Eye
The dial materials are what lend the watch its name, constructed from Tiger’s Eye, a microcrystalline quartz and semi-precious gemstone. According to the brand, the stone’s uncommon, striated appearance represents “a natural reinterpretation of Moser fumé dials,” and in effect places the brand’s stylistic signature in a new, natural light.
Measuring 40 mm in diameter and 11.2-mm thick, the watch’s case is in either 18k rose gold or white gold, each of its facets brightly polished. The lugs of the replica luxury watches are slightly rounded, curving towards the wrist, as they are on previous Endeavour watches. On its right side, the signature signed crown of the collection sits, its knurling tapered to create a slight space between the crown and the case proper. The rose-gold model finds itself secured to the wrist via a brown alligator strap, while the white-gold edition uses a blue one, both fastened by a signed folding clasp in a matching gold.
Behind the slightly domed sapphire crystal are the namesake “Tiger’s Eye” dials – the blue “Falcon’s Eye” and red “Ox’s Eye” styles both featuring a cross-section of the gemstone. In every other respect the dials are completely minimalist – with no markers for hours, seconds, or minutes – with the notable exception of the large openworked tourbillon cage at 6 o’clock, which takes a prominent position just below the leaf-shaped hands and appears to float thanks to its skeletonized bridges.
Powering each of the models is the H. Moser & Cie Caliber HMC 804, a beautifully finished automatic movement that is visible through a sapphire caseback.
Always a brand known for making a statement, H. Moser & Cie unveiled one of its more interesting timepieces in recent memory, the Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Tiger’s Eye, at the recent best swiss watches replica & Wonders virtual exhibition. A novel take on the now-familiar Endeavour design, it dresses up that model’s understated look with two bright new mineral dial options and also adds a tourbillon.
